Worked until close today and I’m fucking exhausted. And tomorrow I have to work until close again…I don’t think I’m going to make it….

The only thing that’s keeping me going is Warped Tour on Wednesday

And here is a tin sign that another couple of great friends presented to me as a burfday gift. I had once mentioned to Chris that it was practically impossible (an exaggeration to be sure) to find a Flash tin among Batman, Superman, Iron Man, Hulk varieties and he remembered! I love vibrancy of the colors and his classic pose! Ty Chris & Dani! You KNOW its gonna go over my bar again soon! Ty! 😄⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Dumping some art and fan art for Green Lantern: Blackest Night, from when it first began, with a couple pieces touching on the White Lanterns. We currently know more about the Indigo Tribe, there’s basically no Blue Lanterns left, and I think Black Hand is actually dead, for now.

As a fellow fan of the Flash comics, I am so sick of people saying how good the CW show is going to be, thank you for also standing against it

I’ve never really seen a movie that accurately portrays the characters and story lines of a comic book universe. I thoroughly enjoyed the Dark Knight movies, but I’m sure some die-hard Batman fan could easily point out every fuck-up and inconsistency. Comic books and movies/tv shows don’t mix well.

Comic books are outlandish, strange, and incredibly complex. In order to make a comic book-themed movie or tv show for a typical viewer, you have to dilute and alter it in order for it to make sense and be enjoyable to watch. The problem with making an accurate adaptation of a comic book is that it wouldn’t make money. Comic book fans would love it, but the typical every-day viewer would not.

I’m excited for the Flash tv show and I’m going to watch it, but I have low expectations.
